Saturday, January 19th - Art Marketing Workshop
You could be the best artist in the world, but if no one knows about you and never sees what you create, it’s going to be very difficult to succeed. This workshop is for current artists or new artists that need to know about different avenues to venture into. The good and the bad(ish). Learn where to start or how to get where you’re going . . . Don’t know where you’re going? Join the crowd LOL. This workshop will give you inside information on galleries, publishing, licensing, working with designers, art festivals, retail & wholesale, charities, television, and more! Bring a notepad and questions! Outline will be given.

Thursday, January 24th - Art Kit Painting Party! Paint the Regal Peacock!
This is a FIRST TIME fun class where you receive my Peacock Painting Kit including an 11 x 14 canvas with the image pre-printed on it, paints, brushes, instructions and tips - all for you to keep! Although written instructions are in the kit, I will be walking you through how to create your own fantastic painting! You get to take the canvas, paints, brushes and written instructions home with you. . . not me, though! And who wouldn’t want to take a non-screeching peacock home (no feather shedding either)?

Thursday, February 7th and Saturday, February 9th - Two Day Workshop Painting With Textures
Want to learn how to take your art to the next level? Love those paintings that have bumps and ridges and all kinds of interesting things going on in addition to the paints? Then this is the workshop for you! Think out of the box by using different mediums and tools and things you might not have thought of doing or using. Get messy! Take chances! Bring on your creative inner guru!
This is a two day workshop for artists. Supply list to bring to class: (2) 12 x 12, 11 x 14 or 16 x 20 gallery wrapped or (preferred) wood art boxes, pencil (Dixon or Ticonderoga with eraser works well), art eraser, fine grain sandpaper, clean styro veggie trays or styro plates (for palettes), Viva paper towels, Modeling or Molding Paste, gesso, acrylic gel medium (thick for texture). Suggested sources of materials - Sam Flax, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Art Systems, online Dick Blick or Jerry’s. Available to use in class will be paints, brushes, practice canvases and paper, and some unusual materials to experiment with.
