The story of my angels . . . many years ago a friend of mine passed away from a brain tumor.  At his funeral they read a poem about life's journey - birth is a beginning, life is a journey, death a destination. I started a Series with Birth is a Beginning (see link) paintings.  Next in the Series was  Death is a Destination, but I have vowed never to paint with the intent of causing sadness.  So I painted Angels dedicated to people who have died and left us with words of wisdom.  Those words live on in the paintings as they are viewed by and passed down for new people to see and learn.
