This is one of the last pieces I have left from the Alvin Fine poem Two Part Series, "Birth is a Beginning" and "Death a Destination" (the Angel Paintings segment). The joy of finally getting pregnant - sometimes after difficulties. The pressure of age and health. Much joy. I held on to this piece because I loved the flow and colors. This was shown at a museum.


This painting has many layers of paints, glazes, mixed media textures, pastels, graphite, and other media to create interest.
