Sparkle Series


This piece offers a striking yet subtle landscape, with vibrant colors and soft gradients that create a layered sense of depth from ground to sky. The abstract form captures a landscape in a dreamlike meditative style. The image moves from deep red through earthy browns and lush greens to a glowing yellow, topped with cool blue sky hues. A streak of white sparkle media suggests a cloud or break point. Use of underpaints with layers of glazes creates depth and movement.


This is one of the many pieces I've painted, and painted, and painted over - not sure until I got it to where I love it. Now I do love it! And I hope you do, too!
