My Face in the Crowd paintings were the first series I created back in the 90's when I started creating art full time. When you're in a crowd of people - on the street, at an event, anywhere - it's a mass of faces. If you pull one person at a time out of the crowd to hear their story, you could find happiness, sorrow, strength, weakness, love, and so many other aspects that make that person special. Their story. Their journey. Links to commonality; maybe or maybe not. When they go back, just like you, they're just another Face in the Crowd.
